About the photographer

Behind the camera.

I’m Malia, a photographer based in Cochrane, Alberta. I make pictures of the people you love, and the days you’ll want back.

I was gifted my first camera at twelve, mentored through high school, and grew into my own style somewhere between editorial portraiture and the photo your grandma kept in a drawer. Couples are my favourite (it’s the best to capture love and laughter), but I also shoot portraits, motorsports, and a fair bit of nature.

Sessions are slow. I’d rather get one photo you’ll actually print than fifty you’ll forget about by Tuesday.
